Summary

For the past 20 years I've strived to learn everything I can about the art of making games. I have a passion for the craft, the technology, the teams, and the process that combine to bring the visual design of a game to life. I believe that art direction is first and foremost in support and service of the game's design, and narrative. I believe that great teams make great games, and that by growing and supporting your team you add value that goes well beyond your current project. I believe in trusting those around you, of taking advantage of the strengths and knowledge of your team and allowing your experts to do their jobs unencumbered. I believe that the job of a leader is not to have all the great ideas, but to recognize and implement them from many different sources. I believe that we are all gamers, and as such our ideas and thoughts are valid and should be heard. I believe I will always have more to learn.
