I've never worked on a Samurai game, so when I was creating crew themes the idea of a robotic samurai was just too good to pass up. Lost Roning was my homage to Kurosawa films and Lone Wolf and Cub comics. Samurai armor is really fun because you build small detail and then use them throughout the piece. It's a good mix of hard and soft materials and I really like the way the old world armor contrasts against the sci fi armature pieces. This was a goal of mine on many of the non Rayonne characters. To bring the diversity of material and texture to the hard cold sci fi materials we see so often.
